Gmail has become one of the most popular free email services on the net (especially with small businesses). Using nicer looking html emails to communicate is a feature that gmail seems to lack. There is a way to get around this drawback...
- Create a web page. Use Google Sites or your favorite web page making software (Dreamweaver). Do not use background images with css; instead make sure all images are using <img> tags (for most people you will hit image and go from there). After you are done... view the page in your web browser. Highlight all the content in the web page and copy it (or ctrl and C).
- Gmail. Go to Gmail and compose a new email. Paste your copied web page content into the email. Your new email should show the same content as the web page you copied. Now you can hit send.
Let me know if this worked for you.
